Trudy's Strawberry Cake

1 pkg white cake mix
1 pkg strawberry jello
4 eggs
1/2 pkg frozen strawberries (thawed, drain and save juice)
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup salad oil
3 TBLS flour

Combine all ingredients and mix together thoughly. Pour mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

 

Strawberry Cake Icing

Prick top of warm cake with fork. Mix 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar, 1/2 cup strawberry juice (saved from frozen strawberries) and 3 TBLS melted butter. Pour over top of cake that you have pricked with fork.
